1.) Sales Manager, West Africa

Position Summary

Reporting to the Regional Manager West Africa, the Sales Manager, West Africa shall manage sales activities and ensure account manager coverage for all accounts within the assigned territories. Domestic and some international travel are required. Copied from: www.hotnigerianjobs.com

Target Clients

Primary (End user market) - Major & mid-size oil & gas producers, pipeline companies, underground storage companies, unconventional gas companies. Secondary (EPC) - Engineering companies.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for identifying target clients and sales opportunities and developing those opportunities all the way through to successful contract award in line with sales targets.

Assist in proposal development by identifying proposal themes, "selling points" or strategies; and preparing various components such as executive summaries.

Communicate market intelligence with both Product Development and Manufacturing to provide input into pricing.

Monitor the competition and report actions and trends to management.

Create a strategic business plan for Primary and Secondary Target Clients and develop sales plans and strategy for active and potential pursuits.

Analyze market conditions and coordinate pricing strategies.

Compile periodic sales report showing sales volume, win-loss records, and market penetration
Qualifications, Experience, Skills / Competencies
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline; plus minimum eight (8) years proven technical sales experience in oil and gas equipment, products, services and solutions.

Sales or proposals experience in Oil & Gas or Energy related industry.

Good technical background which could include experience in oil and gas manufacturing.
rotating equipment OEM. process package supplier, engineering.

Understanding of the market supply chain is essential.

An entrepreneurial spirit and able to work autonomously
Able to communicate in English and French

2.) Senior Sales Engineer (compression, production & processing)

Position Summary

The Senior Sales Engineer shall identify and define the needs and challenges of customers in the areas of gas compression, oil and gas production and processing, and produced water treatment.

Responsibilities

Identify target clients and sales opportunities and develop those opportunities all the way through to successful contract award in line with sales targets.

Plan and prioritize sales activities with particular focus on contacting and visiting new clients to secure new business.

Work closely with projects. engineering, and production departments, and asset teams of assigned clients.

Prepare weekly activity plans and updates for senior managers and monitor and analyze market conditions in Nigeria and report trends ,and activities.

Qualification, Experiences, Skills / Competencies

Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline; plus minimum eight (8) years proven technical sales experience in oil field equipment.

Background could include oil and gas facilities, rotating equipment OEM. process package supplier, engineering company.

Knowledge of oil and gas production equipment. gas compression and processing. and produced water treatment.

Proposals experience in Oil & Gas or Energy related industry and strong sales focus
Interpersonal communication skills, listening and presentation skills and negotiation Skills
IT. Skills (Proficiency in the use of Microsoft word. Outlook, Excel, SharePoint)

3.) Sales Engineer (aftermarket services and power generation)

Position Summary
The Sales Engineer shall identify and define customers' aftermarket (OEM spare parts, overhauls, repairs, operation & maintenance and training) and power generation needs and challenges and work with applications and proposals teams to recommend and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

Identify target clients and sales opportunities and develop those opportunities all the way through to successful contract award in line with sales targets.

Plan and prioritize sales activities with particular focus on contacting and visiting new clients to secure new business
